Product Introduction

    In the current rapid development of the domestic ceramic industry, especially the building ceramics industry, large enterprises are constantly emerging. Therefore, ceramic ball mills with low labor intensity and large output are widely used. In the building ceramics industry, due to the advantages of wet continuous production, large output, low energy consumption, small footprint, high degree of automation, low labor intensity, and low environmental pollution, the application of wet continuous ceramic ball mills will achieve higher achievement.

    

    working principle

    The motor drives the cylinder to rotate through the reduction device. The crushed ore and steel balls in the cylinder are subjected to friction and centrifugal forces when the cylinder is rotated. After being brought to a certain height by the liner, they are thrown and splattered due to gravity. Gradually crushed under impact and grinding. The crushed ore is discharged out of the barrel through the discharge part. After the discharged mineral is classified into qualified products in the spiral classifier, the coarse sand is returned to the ball mill through the combined feeder to continue grinding. The feeder continuously and uniformly feeds the ore into the ball mill continuously and uniformly through the combined feeder, and the ground material is continuously discharged from the ceramic ball mill.

    Structure and composition

    The ceramic ball mill is a horizontal cylindrical rotating device, which is composed of the feeding part, the discharging part, the turning part, and the transmission part (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, electronic control) and other main parts. Outer gear transmission, two bins, lattice ball mill. The hollow shaft is made of cast steel, and the inner lining can be replaced. The rotary gear is processed by casting hobbing.

    Operational points

    How to ensure that the ceramic ball mill can reasonably separate the impact of the grinding body on the material and the grinding effect, and the slurry particles produced by the ball mill can meet the process requirements. To meet this requirement, there are four main considerations:

     1. Barrel body and total length of the barrel: The impact and grinding of the grinding body in the intermittent ball mill on the material are performed simultaneously. When the material is ground to a certain fineness, the material is on the grinding body. It has a certain buffering effect, which reduces the impact of the grinding body on the material, and easily causes excessive grinding of the material. In the continuous ball mill, the impact and grinding of the grinding body on the material are performed separately. In the building ceramics industry, the cylinder can generally be divided into two or three silos. According to the difficulty of grinding the raw materials and the requirements of the material's feed size and discharge size, the length of each silo and the total length of the barrel are not static. Must be reasonably designed.

     2. Silo board: Due to the characteristics of ceramic raw materials, the design of the silo board is also very critical. The author combined the research on the compartment plates and cement and ceramic raw materials used in wet continuous ball mills in the domestic cement industry, and designed the compartment plates for continuous ball mills in the ceramic industry. The hard-wearing coefficient of ceramic raw materials is larger than that of cement raw materials, and the slurry fineness requirements are much finer. In terms of slurry fineness, the cement industry requires less than 7% over 100 mesh screen, and less than 3% over 250 mesh screen in the ceramic industry, which requires the material to stay in the ball mill for a long time. For this reason, compared with the cement continuous ball mill, the ceramic industry continuous ball mill has differences in the rules of bin separation, the length of the cylinder, and the structure of the partition plate between the bins. In the design of the ceramic partition board, only when the slurry particles are ground to be able to suspend above the A ′ plane, they can enter the transition cavity through the castor holes and discharge the material to the next bin through the lifting plate. In this way, the residence time of the material in the barrel is lengthened, and the particle size of the slurry can be controlled to a certain extent to meet the requirements.

     3. Lining and grinding body: The lining board is used to protect the cylinder body from the direct impact and friction of the grinding body and materials. Different forms of ceramic ball mill liners can also change the movement of the grinding body in the barrel. (Such as dropping and sliding), and the grinding effect of the mill is achieved by the impact and grinding of the grinding body on the material. From the point of view of the grinding process, the movement state of the grinding body required by each bin is different. The particle size of the material entering the mill's one bin is relatively large, which requires the grinding body to have sufficient impact capacity. In the future, the grain size of each bin will be reduced accordingly. In the case of a fixed rotation speed of the cylinder, only the linings of each bin must be made into different surface shapes, and then abrasive bodies of different sizes can be provided according to the mechanism of impact and grinding. The lining plate and the grinding body have different friction coefficients to change the movement state of the grinding body, thereby improving the grinding efficiency. The material of the backing plate and the grinding body should be rubber with good abrasion resistance and high alumina ball with a large specific gravity.

     4. Adopting closed circuit: The high output of the ball milling system and ensuring that the slurry particles produced by the ball milling can meet the requirements are the ultimate purpose of ball milling.

     5. Adding grinding aids: How to make grinding aids that improve grinding efficiency evenly enter the ceramic ball mill. Since the material enters the ball mill continuously, in order to achieve the ideal value of the material grinding efficiency, the grinding aid must also enter the mill continuously and evenly. In order to make the grinding aid continuously and uniformly enter the ceramic ball mill, many experiments have been done and many manufacturers have been consulted. It is found that the grinding aid used by most manufacturers, whether powder or water, can be dissolved in water. Therefore, the grinding aid is dissolved in water. The quantitative grinding aid is first added to the quantitative water tank, and the mixture is thoroughly stirred with a blender. When each box of the grinding aid aqueous solution is prepared, it is placed in another working water tank. Using a metering pump, the grinding aid aqueous solution is evenly driven from the working water tank into the ball mill, thereby improving the ball milling efficiency.

    Installation Precautions

    When the ceramic ball mill is installed, the main bearing should be installed first. In order to avoid aggravating the abrasion of the shoulder of the hollow journal and the bearing bush, the elevation difference between the base plates of the two main bearings should not exceed 0.25 mm per meter of length. Secondly, the cylinder body of the ball mill is installed. Depending on the specific conditions, the entire pre-assembled simplified part can be directly installed, or it can be installed in several parts. The journal and the center line of the ball mill must be checked and adjusted. Guaranteed to be below 0.25 mm per meter of length. Finally install the transmission parts (pinion gear, uranium, coupling, reducer, motor, etc.). During the installation process, measurement and adjustment should be performed according to the product technical standards. Check the radial swing of the ring gear and the meshing performance of the pinion; the concentricity of the reducer and the pinion; and the concentricity of the motor and the reducer. When all installations are satisfactory, the final pouring of the foundation bolts and the main bearing floor can be performed.
